learning a new language. Come and join Ms. Max
every Saturday until December of 2008 for StoryTime at
Mitchie's Gallery. Parents have fun learning along
with their child. Curious about how you sign a
certain word? Come and ask - I'll show you how! |

share a lasting gift that they'll remember for life.
How do you become a Volunteer
Reader?
Contact me and we'll schedule you in on a Saturday at
1pm. I'll be there with you, don't worry.

S.O.A.R. Program
BoRee
sponsors a StoryTelling
Opportunity, Appreciation and Recognition
Program
every 4th Saturday at Mitchie's
Gallery.
The
program was created as a way to encourage youth
to embrace the love of reading and the art of
story telling. The experience, not only
builds self-confidence in our students, but it
also gives them a wonderful sense of fulfillment
and pride when they accomplish the
task.
Every
year Mitchi's Gallery welcomes local schools to
have their own Story Time Experience at 1pm on the
4th Saturday of each month. Students
choose a favorite short story to read and shares
it with the Story Time Kids.
This year our
Mitchie's Gallery and BoRee will present a
S.O.A.R. Award
to the
School having the most Storytellers. Thanks for
sharing your stories. Teacher's

Does
Your Child Have A Reading
Zone? |
| How
Can You Help? |
| All
adults can assist Mitchie's Gallery and
BoRee to reach all goals by placing all
trash in the trash receptacles,
refraining from leaning on the art hung
on the wall, turn off the restroom light
once your are done to conserve energy
and supervising children so that they
learn to: |
- walk
inside and run outside
- use
only the books in the basket to read
quietly
- leave
books in good condition for the next
person
- sit
on the bean bags only - jumping
causes damage to the bag
- ask
for assistance when needed
